Our Story

We love working with people to help them get back to living life! It truly is rewarding for us to have our patients share with us their life successes as we assist them in their return to "living". We are fortunate to be able to spend quality time with each patient during each session and really get to know each other. We differ from many other clinics in the which we do not use Physical Therapy Aides, Techs, or Trainers. We believe you deserve a skilled, licensed, and trained professional to guide you to get better.

In 2008 I reached my primary professional goal of opening my own practice after attending Eastern Washington and Arcadia Universities. I have developed a deep interest and appreciation for the spine and knees. My continuing education has taught me some effective and powerful manual therapy skills, particularly Strain Counterstrain and Dry Needling.  I fill my spare time trying to keep up with my 6 active children and enjoying nature.

I have training and certifications in Functional Dry Needling, Strain-counter strain, joint mobilization/manipulation, myofascial interventions, and muscle energy techniques, among others. I enjoy working with a wide range of neuromuscular and musculoskeletal conditions and injuries. For hobbies I like to hunt, ride ATVs, and have been a lifelong Seahawks and Mariners fan.  I am married and have 3 dogs.

As a U.S. Navy veteran, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Health and Rehabilitation Science in 2007 and Master of Physical Therapy in 2010 from California State University, Fresno. I gained experience as a Physical Therapist in Home Health for 5 years before returning to my passion as an outpatient orthopedic clinician. I continued to pursue my education and training, receiving a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2018 and a Certification in Orthopedic Manual Therapy in 2020 while in California. My pursuit has continued in my new found home in Idaho with a Certification in Dry Needling in 2022, furthering my passion for manual and manipulative therapy. I enjoy spending time with my wife and two children, often spending weekends traveling to my daughter or son’s travel sports tournaments. When the family has a free weekend, we enjoy the outdoors with camping, fishing and hiking.

I am an Idaho Native who recently joined the Achieve Physical Therapy team in May of 2023. I spend most of my free time lifting weights, camping during the summer and spending time with family and friends. Professionally, I have interests in treating any and all Neuromusculoskeletal conditions and Vestibular conditions. A few personal goals I have are getting my Orthopedic Clinical Specialist Certification, learning more through formal and informal continuing education and helping patients learn about their symptoms and how to self- manage their symptoms through exercise.
